"When I unexpectedly knock at your door, of course your teenage daughter recognizes me and opens the door. I was here last week to deliver furniture, or paint your neighbors house or deliver your new fridge so I am no longer a stranger." Guess I outsmarted that silly little Stranger Danger class she had 10 years ago. Thanks for not teaching her anything else about keeping herself safe, it works really well for me.
CPC recommends that when you or your neighbors have had workman in the area, you clearly tell your children that they should not answer the door to the workman unless you have given them instructions to do so.
